I used these from 1978 until 2024 when I removed them to install front disc brakes. They are in excellent condition with clean grease and recent seals. The wheel cylinders were used with silicone brake fluid. I thought I had turned the drums in 1978, but they measure 11.0 inches, so I must not have. They are in excellent condition.

Price: none + cost of shipping

It looks like there is a time limit for ads posted here. I have posted these before. For some years now I have taken small loads of my extra parts to swap meets then given them to vendors. I like that method of putting my parts to use. It has been a while since I could do that, but I did bring these parts to one last Saturday. There were no parts vendors, so they remain in my truck. As is noted in other ads, I cannot have these taking up my space. With regret, when these do come out of my truck it will be to go into a scrapper's truck. So I post them one more time.

Robert - Thanks for the generous offer to share your extra's with the community! Not saying I have a need for them myself, but in the thought of hating to see good parts go away for ever by scrapping them, can you let us know the weight of the parts? Because of the weight and size of the items, it might be necessary to box and ship in sets (one drum, backing plate, etc.) to a box. If we could get a close estimate on the weight (rounded to the pound works) and size of box (height, width, length), it would be helpful to folks in getting a shipping cost estimate to see if it might be fiscally possible for someone to provide them a new home.

Let me know if/when you can and I'll take a peek at costs. wink

Best of luck on finding them a new home! thumbs_up

Thanks! They are properly packed for shipping. The box measures 29L x 16W x 19H. Wt is 115 lb.

I cannot figure out how to add photos while on the phone, but I can when I get to a computer.

Thanks Robert for the details. The single box shipping weight of 115 lbs busts the chance to send via USPS as they have a 70lb limit per box. So another method of shipping would need to be the next thought in the process.

Alternatively, breaking a USPS shipment into two boxes, and figuring an estimated 58 lbs per box (they require you to round up to the nearest lb), I did a shipping estimate online (your area to mine) and a 16L x 16W x 19H box @ 58 lbs from your vicinity to me would be $134.55 per box. That's $269.10, which for me puts it out of my range unfortunately.

I tried to do an estimate through UPS, but their website said it wasn't able to process the estimate request for some reason. I'll try again later and see if there is a better choice.

In the meantime, here's hoping there may be a more nearby 'Bolter that could offer these a new home! thumbs_up

Thanks for your check. Shipping is high now. They are packed because a man in NC was interested. But shipping turned out to be more than $200, so he decided to not have them. He did offered $50 for my work to pack.
