I believe......And no real sure......but I need your 3/4-1 ton original dog dish hub cap Clips off your junk wheels. Not sure about and if the higher tonnage trucks are the same. Like the right clip pictured. That clip is taller and a little differently bent. The left one is aftermarket 1/2 Ton from Jim Carters Truck Parts. Looking for nice usable clips. No thin stuff please. I need to collect about 25 of them. Please send pictures and price.

tesa - I haven't found any vendors offering replacement clips for 3/4-1 ton wheels, but there is an old thread that I think may offer you a solution using the shorter 1/2 ton repop clips,

Check out this first reply post by Denny Graham as well as his second reply post that provide details about his method of adapting the shorter 1/2 ton clips to work on 3/4 and 1 Ton rims.

Not all of his previous picture links about the topic in those posts seem to be working correctly, so here are a couple of direct links to one of his many galleries with a starter picture, followed by this hub cap clip modification completed picture, demonstrating what it looks like finished.

The details on the spacers he used are listed in the 2nd reply post linked above. Perhaps this will fill your need??? headscratch

Best of luck! thumbs_up

I have the wheels from my 3/4 ton 1950 that I can look at. I believe at least some of them may be original and have clips. If I have some I will let you know.

I have 3 wheels with 4 clips each (12 total). Without doing a lot of checking they appear to be the same as each other (see attached).

Let me know if these are what you are looking for.

I suspect the best way to remove them is going to be to grind off the back side and drive out the rivet so I don't damage the clips.

1/2 ton are differant than 3/4 ton. What is the height of the clips? From base to top? Need to be as precise as possible. Where are you in Wisconsin?
Thankyou

They are 3/4 ton (8 lug wheels) but I will measure and let you know.

I'm near Chiton Wisconsin, about 40 miles SW of Green Bay or 75 miles NE of Milwaukee.

The best I can measure they are 1-17/32" from the top of the flat mounting surface to the end of the extended clip.
