Just a thought.
How many Bolters post their builds on YouTube?
I did some searches on the forum but no real luck. Is there a thread or list I can be pointed to?

When I do my searches for pre 1966 GMC and Chevy trucks on YouTube the algorithm feeds me same chanels.

I figuer if there are bolters on YouTube I can do a direct search and see what they are up to and support there page.

Have a good day.

I'm personally not aware of a specific list of 'Bolters that have YouTube channels.

Perhaps those that do have one will reply here so folks can find them and check them out. wink

I think a running thread would be good.

Not sure about this. We already have troubles with people posting a YT without making it a link. The LINK idea is good.

Maybe a link in the Bolter's signature line. That way you have more than just the link, like what kind of truck they have. wink

We don't forbid YT or Facebook links. It's amazing how many are using FB for their build story. We are about information SHARING. It takes more than one site to build an old truck. dance

I've only posted a few videos (LINK - Utah York). I did not document my build.

John - You did document your build through your DITY Gallery here in the 'Bolt. Did a fantastic job IMHO! thumbs_up

Just because it wasn't done with video doesn't take away from your story. smile

Shoot, if I took the time to video stuff, I'd get even less done than I do now. dang

PS - John, do you want to add your youtube link?

I can only imagine, Set up camera work 10 minutes or so, reposition camera work another 10 minutes. Check the video, great, Forgot to turn on the camera. Then spend the time to edit and post the video. It's a lot of extra work and $.

Thanks to those who take the time to document there build either video or photo.

I have enough trouble remembering to take pics so I know how something goes back together.

We have tried to video tape for many years. From clinics with a group, HRL doing stuff here or at his place and such. John trying to set up cameras like you said.

The closest we could get is a bunch of pix and then turn into a slide show. We only recently got a computer with a microphone. wink
