Front springs are on back order and cannot reach person that did the axle for advice, so reaching out to you all with experience. Since axle was modified with 3 inch drop, what springs can be used up front? I see that LMC sells a 3 inch lowering spring set, but will that put front end even lower? I dont want truck too low, 3-4 inches ideally. Thanks. '53 3100 truck.

You've already achieved a 3" drop with the modified axle, so I'd stick with stock height springs to not lower it any further. I'm sure others will chime in with their thoughts/experiences in a bit.

Which is easier to do? Seems you would get same results. Asking for a friend.
What is the deal with the original springs? If you only want a 3" drop, you accomplished that with the axle work. Go back with standard springs if you need to replace the originals.
