Luke - This is for the AD series Deluxe Suburban/Panel fender trim stripes?

Luke - From what I've found today and in the past, there is a picture in the 1947-54 Chevy Truck FAM, but it doesn't give any measurements or specifications on where to mount those pieces.
The couple of vendors I see advertising them, Jim Carter and Chev's of the 40's, say their kits come with instructions, but they don't offer them separate from the kits.
I think your only hope is to find someone that has them installed originally (for measurements), or has a copy of the installation instructions they would be willing to share.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

I'd call Jim Carter and see if he can give you that information or copy a template or something.

I have talked with someone both at Jim Carter and Class Parts of America. They do not offer this information or a template. They just provide some background information, generalized directions, and a few pictures. It is enough to complete the project.
However, the detail that I am looking for would make the installation that much easier, and more professional/precise, in my opinion.
Can you post a diagram? Dimensions from edges as close to right angles as you can would work. Surveyors call them swing ties.
Like you said, I'm sure fellow 'Bolters would appreciate it.

I did a short search for this info. Several sites had folks wanting to know the measurements. Fonz, you would be quite the Hero to those that are still looking.

I have a rear fender template that I would like to share, along with a few photos. I understand that what I did to my 1/2 ton truck is not for everyone. Note that the rear fender template came from an OEM factory stamped fender from a panel truck. It had to be slightly modified to fit the curve of the fenders on my 1/2 ton truck. You want to start with a level truck, and keep the stripes level as well. I also made a butcher paper template for the front fenders, based on measurements that were shared with me by another fellow hobbyist. He provided the dimensions from an OEM factory stamped front fender. The front and rear stripes are horizontal with one another.
