And some trucks sharing my favorite color - Omaha Orange wink

And some in other colors too. [on edit] oops! missed one - added now.

I thought I got a pic of a vehicle for our Fearless Leader, a 4x4 van, but can't seem to find it, sorry John.

Nice! I’m glad you made the show, but I only see one picture of your truck in the background.

Thanks for sharing!

Kevin - Very nice showing, with what looks like really great weather and a good range of Chevy's and GMC's to look at. Are any of them Stovebolt rides too? Like Phil said, your truck seems kinda absent in your pics, whoops - lol. I'm sure you'll get better at getting more pics of your truck, after you get past the enjoyment of just being able to get there, participate and back home afterwards. pix

I know you've put a ton of work into getting your truck there, so Kudo's to you sir! thumbs_up

Yeah, I didn't even think about getting pics of my truck. I was really busy oogling that unrestored 49 3100 I was parked next to. I did try and promote Stovebolt to the various owners of trucks I chatted with.

It was a beautiful day. The weather held out for the show, with crappy weather expected today. Today's effort is running the trash from the show to the dump. The group I'm a member of is a co-sponsor of the show and they were wondering how to deal with the bags of trash. I made the mistake of saying "my truck is right there." LOL! It's first real job. grin

Some pictures of your truck "on the job" would be a great addition to the Who uses their truck as a truck? thread. grin

Kevin, totally agree on the '49 that's one nice truck. Looks like it could be a reference truck if the originally extends beyond the paint to the interior and boiler room. And, Yes we need more pics of your truck along with the story.

Funny you should mention the ‘49 as a reference truck. I don’t have a jack handle for mine and he drug his out to let me inspect it so I could reproduce one. When I first saw that truck 2 years ago, I was giving it a close look and discovered it had a Carter W1 carburetor, which Chevy used prior to the Rochester carbs. I will get together with the owner in the near future to help him adjust his steering gear.

Looks like a great show. Glad you were able to get your tuck there.

I know what you mean about pictures of your own truck. All the shows I go to I tend to gets pics of everything else and forget my own.
