I’d say the original color was the blue showing on the flanges where the fenders attach to the cab. There were 2 blue colors available as options in 1950, Mariner Blue and Windsor Blue. You can look them up at www.paintref.com BTW, post your photos as jpg files rather than pdf. The site can’t handle PDFs well. They have to be downloaded to view.

On the original paint color indicated in the spots Kevin mentioned, my 'puter makes it look more like Seacrest Green IMHO. Kinda hard to tell as the lighting in your picture makes everything look really dark.

Kevin sees a shade of blue in the fender flanges whereas on my screen it is a light shade of green.
Of the choices available in 49-51, I'd have to agree that Seacrest Green looks to be the closest match but a better photo of the flanges in natural daylight would help a lot.

I looked at the picture on my desktop and it's definitely blue. I don't know what you guys are smoking.
The best approach would be to get a color card and compare. Here's a screenshot of paintref.com's listing for 1950 Chevy Trucks.
Based on that, I'd say that Windsor Blue is the closest, although Seacrest Green is the same intensity.
Standby and I'll paste a couple samples on Shade Baby's picture for comparison.

That looks so close to the color of my 92 GMC Sonoma GT. It was called Teal. I’ve heard the name ‘sea foam’ also. One of the ugliest fad colors of the early 90’s. They only made 54 of that color out of 806 total. I’d like to see an AD truck in that shade.

Well the color is in the eye of the beholder and I'm going with the Seacrest Green, although it sure looks like the later available Ocean Green. My truck is Ocean Green and that color looks a lot like the color on yours.
