Kevin 1951 Chevy 3100 work truck Follow this saga in Project Journal Photos 1929 Ford pickup restored from the ground up. | 1929 Ford Special Coupe (First car) Busting rust since the mid-60's If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.
Those GM numbers may cross over. RockAuto sometimes has cross-over numbers.
The GM Cap # comes up with a STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS DR428 OEM / Interchange Numbers: 12338676, 1924247, 1924248, 1931512, 3141430, J3141430

A search under the Chevrolet Truck 3000/4000 Series 6 cylinder for 1955-59 listing shows the following Delco-Remy Part Numbers for your 1957 235 application (screenshot below):
~ Dan 1951 Chevy 3 window 3100 Follow this story in the DITY Gallery "My Grandpa Carl's Truck and How it Became Mine" 1966 Chevelle (Wife's Hot Rod) | 2013 Chevy Silverado (Current daily driver) US Army MSG Retired (1977-1998) | Com Fac Maint Lead Tech Retired (1998-2021)
Figures that Dan would have the info. Him being the parts hunting guru.

Thanks Kevin.
What's crazy is I did a web search to find the resource book, forgetting that I have several of these original Delco-Remy Catalogs sitting in my Stovebolt Library - duh!
Oh well, in the end the information has been shared and hopefully helps Todd and any other Bolter searching for similar info in the future.
