What's the point of having that part chromed since its behind the seat where nobody can see it? Maybe that's why nobody's buying them.

Part of the filler does stick thru the grommet to the outside of the cab, so that much is visible from outside. And THAT is what increases your mileage, chick magnet status, speed AND horsepower. LOL!
Probably just as easy to chrome the whole thing than just the part that's visible outside the cab.
