Here are the pictures of the truck , “Da Bomb” that won the pick for Stovebolt Best modified engine Award today at Smokey Mountain Nationals. There were several trucks that could have taken this award today. Left to right, Tim, Eli, Papa Joe, Joe, Al, Liz, Jim, Craig, The Stovebolt winner Max Stewart, myself and Wayne. We had a good time at the Jamboree cookout Friday afternoon in spite of a drizzling rain. Luckily there was a large cover we were able to move under. Good times, you missed it!

Donald, that wasn't Wayne. He was a truck owner with some transmission issues. Alvin and I talked with him for sometime. Directed him to the BOLT and the driveline forum.

I'm not sure I helped PaPa Joe that much. Reset the float level and re-adjusted the air and idle. He made it home with no problems though.

Just a few pictures for now...
--The red Free Root Beer panel truck was a hit. The cold root beer dispensed out of the side of the truck was perfect on a hot day.
--One picture of all the supervisors Tuts had while working on PaPa Joe's truck.
--A picture of Tim catching a ride on the back of Don and Vickie's truck.

Great pictures! Y'all, got my shirt this past week and it is a beauty! I hope to earn my shirt next year by driving to Townsend in my truck! I've got to thank Jerry, Jay, Tim, Don, Alvin, and Craig for all the encouragement and help. Happy trails!

Glad to hear you finally made it home, but you sure did take a long way to get there.
How many air mile was that one way here and then the long way home?

Oh, and call your sister. We have been chatting on where you are.

Tim rode in the back of my truck for the Friday evening cruise. The last mile or so, it started to rain. Tim got soaked but never stopped smiling. He said it cooled him off after the hot day. 😁
