Does anyone know the thread size used there, is it possibly a pipe thread size. Last year at this time I had the sensor out, but it seam to screw in fine then but won't now. Thought I would try and run a tap in the hole, but unsure of the size. Any help appreciated!

That's assuming it's the same as a 216ci, which it should be. I could go measure it for you on my engine sitting in the garage.
[on edit] can't get a good measurement on the port in the head, but tomorrow, I'll measure the sensor thread. It's definitely a straight thread.

That size was last used in the 1955 235 motor. If you have a chance, please verify the size (and my information).
