The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Driveline Front Wheel Bearing recomendations

Hi

looking to replace the original ball bearings on my 46 1/2 ton.
just wondering if anybody has used the Chevys of the 40s roller kit or
the kit from the filling station. The Chevys of the 40s is $268.00 and
he filling station's is $139.50. Is one better than the other?
Any other input is welcomed

I had an issue with the bearing seal I got in the kit from Chevs of the 40s. I could not get it to seat properly. I noticed The Filling Station had a different seal and that one worked for me. Here's a link to my thread - LINK

I know others have used the set from Chevs with no issues. Not sure why seal would not seat all the way.
