I'm getting close to mounting my 1950 panel body to the frame to stay (at least until final fit and alignment of fenders, hood, etc.) I have yet to find a clear diagram that indicates the order top to bottom of bolts, rubber pads, washer location, and metal square with hole (there are two of these in kit)

I bolted my body to frame at least 15 years ago. Not sure if I had a specific order, I simply left all the fasteners loose til they were all in correctly, fairly basic procedure.

I believe he is asking about the stack pattern for spacers and pads at each individual bolt area. I believe I left wood at the body and rubber at the frame.

Thanks for the answers - I was after stack pattern. What about square steel "washer"? I suppose that is for the very front body mount, but clear at the bottom before lock washer and nut or sandwiched in between rubber pad and body mount with the rubber??

Jay - According to the FAM the square steel washer is indeed for the front cab mount. From my perspective, the stack goes from bottom to top as the nut, lock washer, square washer, then any shims to get the specified "TOP OF FRAME TO BOTTOM OF FLOOR PANEL" dimension of 1.83" +.06 -.00.

The square washer prevent the lock washer from gouging into the rubber shims.

I have a FAM, just didn't find that illustration - thanks for pointing it out to me!

So, does this sound like I have it correct here?

Starting from bottom up, nut, lock washer, steel square washer, a rubber "pad washer" (sent with bolt kit), then the actual metal frame mount the bolt goes through, then another rubber "pad washer" (with kit), then any standard metal body shims to attain the correct measurement between the frame and the floor board.
