I am unable to find the use for these in my MPC for 1929-1950. I have one complete set and another of just the threaded inner and outer pieces. Does anyone know what they fit?

That is possible. The shaft ends seem to fit properly diameter wise, but as for the length, I don't know what vehicle and year they are for. I am hoping somebody has a book with those numbers in it telling what they fit.

I came up with nothing on the PN, but the spring width on 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton trucks is 1-3/4" and 2" on larger trucks. That should narrow down the application.

I can confirm that the "GRP. 7.504" identifies "BUSHING, Rear spring eye" in Chevrolet Master Parts Books from many year groups. Unfortunately the particular part number "509122" does not show up in any Chevrolet Master Parts Book/Price List that I have access to.
My best SWAG is these are for another GM product line Either Buick, Cadillac, Oldsmobile or Pontiac as I think they would have used the same Parts Group numbering system as the Chevrolets.
GMC used Parts Group# 15.0355 (at least from the early 50's to 60's) for the rear spring eye shackle kit from what I can see in my resources, so these wouldn't have been GMC items IMO.

I checked the part number against the GMC parts books this morning Dan. No match from 1939 to 1960.

I should probably mention these came from Barry Week's stash if that gives some of you who knew him better any thoughts. I was just hoping to find their use and get them to somebody who can use them if they are not useful to me and my 1940 half ton.

Thanks all for looking into this. I will throw them out on the Antique Automobile Club of America site and see if someone there can ID them. If they are for a GM car somebody there should pick up on it.

The bushing measures 2" long by 7/8" diameter. Maybe 1/32" less???
