1941 ChevyThis was my first rebuild. It has a 235 with 3.55 rear-end.
I started working on this while I was still working on the north slope. I started real slow with no intention of having it turn out like it looks now.
It was nine years from start to finish. Most of the work was done in the last three years after I retired.
Early on I had a problem. At work I was almost always working with someone else but this time I was all on my own. I didn't have a very good work ethic working by myself.
My 46-7 was done in two years.
While taking things apart my thought was I'll remember where things went, haha not so. I've got better now with my third Art Deco truck.
This picture was taken at the farthest west point on the continuous US road system in Anchor Point Alaska.
