I am looking for paint codes or what colors to use that will match the interior colors used on my 1956 Chevy pickup. The vehicle info packet calls out Charcoal and Marble Grey but any of the paint samples I've looked at do not have these colors. I can match exterior colors no problem but these two are being difficult to find.
I have not seen any color chips or paint codes for interior colors on any of our trucks, but Jim Carter may have what you're looking for. They do sell paint for interiors that they probably had matched to samples of original trucks. I know that what I bought from them for the interior of my 1951 was close, but darker than spots on my dash that were protected from fading. I had it adjusted at a paint shop.

Good point- they do have light gray and a semi flat black for the interior and top of the dash. Its probably just as simple as that but when it comes to paint colors I'd rather be sure than just use some generic 'light gray'.
I'm wondering if you might call them and ask them to send you an actual paint chip that you could compare to what's on your truck. I think they get that paint mixed when it's ordered, and they probably won't share the formula. But if someone orders a can, they could ask the supplier (it's PPG ALK200 paint) to include some chip samples with the order to send out to people in your position.
