I was looking for 1951 chevy truck striker nut plate missing 1 in my truck.
It's the small plate 1 3/8" long 1/2" high 1/4 " thick with 2 tapped holes.
It's what you screw in to to secure the striker plate.
Anyone know were you buy this item.

Thanks John

As far as I know, those aren't reproduced. It would be fairly easy to drill and tap a piece of flat plate, but putting the serrations on it that keep it from shifting around would be a bit harder. Maybe some nicks with a sharp chisel to upset some metal would serve the same purpose as the serrations.

But I'm sure if you post in Truck Parts Wanted in the Swap Meet, a fellow Bolter could come up with one for you.

That partictular piece is the nut for two 1/4” bolts on top and another for the two on the bottom. The plate(s) with the serrations is sandwiched between the striker plate and the “B” pillar.

Use a thin cutoff blade on a small angle grinder or a Dremel tool to put the grooves in the plate. Use the original item you have as a pattern. Easy fix!

I happen to have a pic of the nut plate. This one had a bolt broken off in it and needed to have that removed and the threads chased.
