Dave - I did a search through Stovebolt on your topic and sorry to say I have not been able to find any threads that still have good links to previously known resource info. There are a few on-topic threads, but no pictures or working links to info you seek.
I did read that Fulton started making external sun visors in 1947, coinciding with the new AD truck series. Info I read indicated a company called Vecat made external sun visors that fit the Art Deco style trucks. A search for more info about those turned up no results, other than a comment or two about the design using a center support bracket that prevented the crank out windshield from opening.
Hopefully some fellow Art Deco truck owning Bolters can chime in with some knowledge or info to help you with your install? Pretty sure both GMC and Chevy info would be the same.
