I have used por15 tank sealer with success on fuel tanks, but has anyone on here used this on an oil pan?

I sandblasted the area and filled the pits with JB Weld. Have never used POR15 tank sealer on anything. I don't think that a gas tank that needs to be sealed should be used at all.
