A button or link would be a great way to make it easy to donate.

Unfortunately Paypal considers them a business so they take a cut of the money you send. A few years back you could send as friend-to-friend without a fee taken.

Kind of you to ask. We try not to be "in your face" (bugging people for money). The references in the News & Announcements about donations has a *slight* reference to it. Occasionally, when we've been in a pickle (like needing a second server in Texas), we have put out a collection plate). The response just blew our mind!! Here's the link for both check or PayPal donations that Kevin was talking about. Thanks for thinking of the "electric bill" as Alvin and others often call it with his donation(s).

Then, when I try to go to PayPal directly to send money to [email protected] as Kevin suggests above, I don't see the prefix https/: on the PayPal URL which make me wonder if I am on a secure site or not. I will go ahead and send a check via USPS and, although it will take longer to get to you, I am pretty sure that it will make it! Thanks for all that you folks do for our community!! Nick

We have problems off and on with the PayPal link. That was set up so long ago and many things have changed with PP. Maybe it's time to start with a fresh button. We'll give it a go this week.
