| | | | Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 228 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 228 | Greetings. Converted my 51 GMC 252 ( 1 ton) from a 228 to a military 302 .
Originally used the early lower radiator connection tube from the 51- 228. 302 Engine has the short shaft water pump.
This original metal pipe with 1 1/2 inch connectors fit but was a quite tight making the connection from the water pump to the lower connection of the radiator due to the compound angles. Bought a replacement in a molded hose for the early motor and one for later 50’s and neither fits correctly.
Are there any other applications that may fit my configuration? What did you do.? Thanks | | |
