Here`s a guy forwarding the crimes committed against classic trucks. This video is of a
1949 Chevy truck. The work should be noted of what NOT to do. Good paint skills but ..book and its cover.

Some of that looks unfixable to me. Once you start down that rabbit hole.
But like the guys says , to fix a truck up right , there is no way to make money on a flip.

It looks like they hired Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder to do the welding! Building in a bunch of square corners on the frame like that is an open invitation to a catastrophic structural failure from stress risers. We learned that the hard way on the round track cars when "boxing" frames- - - - -the laws of physics aren't "suggestions"!

Probably not Ray or Stevie. Bet the same person that painted... "fixed" the frame.
You gotta wonder what the body looked like if the frame was so bad it had to be pieced together on each end.
You might have a speedy or jesus on this botch..

Judging by the quality of work done on the chassis, I wonder what that shiny paint job is hiding?

That seems to be the common denominator...a really nice paint job.
I`d bet with todays technology, someone could do remote inspections.
Help these folks out that show up to buy a truck and get blinded with paint.
