I need to fix some wobble in my pedal assembly by replacing the bushings. Before I get aggressive, can anyone confirm which way the pin pushes out to release the brake pedal? From the chamfered hole on the bottom up through the top? Or from the top down out the bottom? Thinking logically, it seems like the pin would push out against gravity.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe I knocked mine out from bottom to up. Then installed from the top down.

Pretty funny....I was banging on the wrong hole! Looks like that chamfered hole is a casting relief or something similar. Hidden very close by is the pin which I didn't see. I was able to push it out from the top down with a punch, heat, and some liquid nitrogen on the pin from an upside down duster can. It looks like an omni-directional straight pin.

I've gotten the old bushings punched/torn out. Will clean up the holes with some emery cloth and get working on inserting the new bushings.
