I’ve got a 1951 GMC 350-24. There is a guy near me selling a rolling frame for a 54 Chevy 6400 for cheap.

Will this work as a source of break/wheel/suspension/steering spares for me?

Hy yeahoner, go over and have a look at the chassis, your GMC may use a different wheel attachment method, if that is the case then interchangeability between the two chassis will be limited

The only thing brake wise that I found looking at old Delco Moraine brake catalogs is the master cylinder and flexible brake lines. Both vehicles are listed as using the same ones. Wheel cylinders, brake shoes and brake drums are different.

Most appreciated. I will probably just go look, but it’s a ferry ride away, so it’s not a minor operation to get there and even more so to get both side by side.
