I'm trying to research how to replace this rotted bracket under the hood but I don't even know what it's called. Please point me in the right direction. 1955.1 3600 Thanks
I wouldn't worry about the center piece. Those usually can be cleaned up and saved. Hopefully the same goes for the side mount pieces. I don't remember seeing those for sale by themselves...although I may not have looked in the right place. Most of the time those can also be saved although you might have to add some metal to help brace them.

Other than the center section (meant for adjusting the hood) which can be unbolted, those rear hood braces are part of the hoods when built. To my knowledge no one is reproducing just those parts. On one hand, it's possible to cut out and weld in patches to replace the sections that are beyond saving. on the other hand, you might be able to salvage some off another old hood, but it's going to require drilling out the welds to remove them and welding them back onto your hood panels. You might be better off trying to locate another hood.

I have removed those parts on my current '52 build. There are spot welds and rivets that hold them on. I ended up giving up on trying to repair them, but I had another hood with other bad issues, but the rear brackets were in fair shape and I was able to patch weld the small rust holes. It was a bit of a chore to get them off without messing up the the hood sheet metal.
