I am trying to remove the rear axle oil seal and cannot get it out. I am using a seal puller, but so far all I've done is deform the seal.
Any suggestions? | | | | | Joined: May 2015 Posts: 11,150 Housekeeping (Moderator) Making a Stovebolt Bed & Paint and Body Shop Forums | | Housekeeping (Moderator) Making a Stovebolt Bed & Paint and Body Shop Forums Joined: May 2015 Posts: 11,150 | Just tear it out, it can't be reused anyway. Use a slide hammer with a hook on the end. Just be careful not to hook the axle bearing.

Really destroyed the thing.
