When we at the Townsend Meet, I mentioned to Tuts that I was on the hunt for an antique school bus or heavy truck brake light that would light up with the word "STOP" to mount in the back of my 46 pickup. I have driven that truck for over 50 years and was always concerned with the small 6 volt taillights while just waiting for that bump in the rear! I had even upgraded the lights to LED but still hard to see on a sunny day. Tuts said to me that my search was over because he had been gifted two of the same and as we communicated, he sent me one. I have an Army footlocker in the bed of the truck so I mounted the light on the lid, restricted the lift to avoid hitting the back of the cab, ran a wire direct from the brake light switch and a ground. It took this old fart about 50 trips back and forth from under the truck after my first effort to connect failed, but it is done. Thanks Tuts!

I was just passing on what was given to me... I was definitely a group effort.. It looks great mounted back there, I quite sure anyone behind you can see that light.

Here is what mine looks like. Found it on eBay years ago. I have no idea about its origin. The glass was broken when I bought it. A little super glue keeps it in one piece. The strap that holds the glass in place is brass. It is mounted on the top of my stake bed, behind the cab's rear window.
