I ordered a set of brake lines from Inline Tube for my '50 3600 3/4 Ton pickup. They had different listings for 1947-48 and 1949-50.

I recieved my lines Wednesday but the box says 1947-48 with their part number for that application. There's another label that says the two part numbers interchange.

I checked the lines and they're very close to what I currently have with the exception of the long line running back to the rear brake hose. It's not the same at the rear end of the line where it goes into the brake hose.

Just curious if anyone is aware of specific differences between the years. I'm going to ask them about it but though i'd see if anyone has had any first-hand experience here first.

Thanks,
Shawn

Those years are significantly different, according to this illustration and following pages.
Not to say that what they sent you wouldn't work. Hope you can get it sorted out.
I used that information I linked to to fabricate lines for my '51 3100. The info was spot on.

If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.

Thanks, Kevin,

It'll be interesting to see what they say. I think I could make them work but, for the expense, and from what I've heard, they should hook up with just some very minor tweaking.
