I have 1960 c-10. My blower motor will not drop down. I’ve removed all screws (5). Is it possible that the bracket holding it up has rusted to the motor? I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks,
Mark

Its been awhile, but I dont recall anything but the screws to remove the motor. Keep working it with penetrating oil and it should come loose.

Hambone,
I figured it out. The bracket wasn’t held by a rivet but by a stud and nut located inside the cab. It’s all good. I couldn’t do without this site and the many generous souls that are willing to lend their expertise. Especially the moderators like you that jump in when no one else can answer.

Thank you,
Mark
