Hello all you good old truck guys. It has been years since I last checked in. Different email, different address, different status and much lower CI. I moved down to Albany almost five years ago after a short stint in Salem. Now getting ready to sell up and move back to Salem again, this time to a retirement home. My brothers still have the shop but it seems we have just gotten too old to feel like getting under those old rigs anymore. I am down to just a little 4 cylinder Buick Encore GX. Sold the 65 Chev to a guy from Vancouver, WA. Dumped the motorhome in 2008. Just driving to the gym and grocery store these days with occasional trips to Salem for medical. If there is anybody out there who remembers me from back in those early 21st century days, say hi. I remember a get-together at Andy's place just past the Idaho/Montana border in 2002. Maybe you were there too.

Red 2021 Buick Encore GX. Down to new low on the cylinder index (4)!

I don't have my 1965 Chev 1/2 ton anymore, but it is still in the gallery if you are interested.

Blackdog died 2009. Now my only dogs are at brothers' place!

Hi Jane!!! I remember you at Montana Andy's. We were in our truck camper because my '48 busted a ring on Evaro Hill. Cletis and Pearl were there along with Ken, Luke, you (Ivy?), some I can't remember.

I think the gathering has a spot somewhere in this website. More later including pics.

Found it. Check: https://www.stovebolt.com/events/mt%20andy%202000/index.html

Way to go Wally! Montana Andy's was the First Ever Event for Stovebolt. I'll see if I can get that Photobucket link to work. (We are still paying for it every year, frown )
