Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 1,177 | A while ago, I setup a script to renew our certificate every 90 days. The first time that it ran, the cert had already expired, and so you got warnings when you came to Stovebolt that the site was insecure. I thought that, once that first run was completed, the cert would expire at the same time that the renewal script ran, resulting in a seamless transition from the old cert to the new one.
That was apparently not the case. I have now edited the script to renew the certs a day earlier. That should mean that we won't encounter this problem again. We'll know for sure 89 days from today. | | |
