I’m trying to plan for everything this year, any idea when the get together is this year? Probably still mid September?

Yes Oldie, it will be in September after 9/11 sometime.
I will be meeting up with GDad in the next couple weeks to start the ball rolling, but the final date will have to be set by our hosts, Mongo and his wife, Lisa.
Give me a little time and I will have a PM question for you.

Thanks for lighting the fire!
Don

Good with me Steve!
Chris is not the only one that has asked the date.

Please clean out your Stovebolt mailbox so we can get a joint planning committee meeting going.
Thanks
Don

Agreed on the 3rd Annual MBA Roundup main event on Saturday September 13th!

As Don hinted, time to get the Executive Committee together and get some planning started. wink

I’m starting to make plans to be there. I’ve tried (and failed) a couple times to have my 51 ready for the trip.

Unless something breaks (possible), or I decide to take something else apart (likely)…there’s not nearly as much standing in my way this year.

Don

I would say football season is likely to keep him at home this year. Come to think of it, I need to check his schedule and see what that means to my attendance as well!

Just a quick note as I realized we hadn't yet posted the location information for anyone that hasn't been to one of the previous Roundups.

This years Roundup is once aging being held courtesy of Stovebolter KCMongo at Mongo's Garage, 800 S. Delaware St., Independence, MO.

I need to put together another post with our "flexible" event schedule outline, so look forward to that coming out in the next few days. smile

I have the '37 shined up and fueled, so if the ragweed doesn't blown before the 13th, I'am planning to come over.

I'll double check with KCMongo, but we have had folks camp out in their vehicle and small camper trailer at the shop during previous Roundups. Lots of space available. I'll update once I talk to him today.

KevinS - KCMongo said “Sure” for space at his shop to camp out overnight.

Feel free to show up on Friday afternoon and join our informal pre-Roundup gathering. You can get yourself settled and join us for a bit of food and meet & greet. grin

Looking forward to meeting you! thumbs_up

KevinS your welcome to camp. One minor thing I figured I'd mention is the train tracks right next to my shop. I've had Scouts camp many times out front and they were able to get through the night but figured I'd let you know they get loud sometimes. smile

I’ll be driving over Friday to spend the weekend. Me and my travel companion Lucy. Looking forward to meeting people as nutty or nuttier than me.

Just a little teaser for one of tomorrow’s main event activities.

For whoever guesses the number of old spark plugs that are in a jar they will be taking home the little fellow pictured below. grin
