Hi all

I’ve got Ms Daisy running and pretty much put back together. Now I need to get to some of the other things like setting the timing. Once upon a time many years ago I knew all this stuff.

First question is the order of things. What comes first, points, valve adjustment or timing.

Points before timing for sure. Point dwell (or point gap) affects timing, especially if you're using a timing light. Valves should be adjusted either before or after timing is set.

I'd do a rough set on the valves cold before I set timing.
