It's the last big holiday of the summer. Besides "laboring" on your Stovebolt, hope you have some "fun" times this weekend. Got family things scheduled? Last vacation? Parades? Community events? Prepping for school? Where is your Stovebolt in all these doings?
Share! If you've already got something going in a Parking Lot (from Early Bolts to Big Bolts) or a DITY, post what you're doing this holiday. If you haven't got a "parking space" of your own, you can post something near you in a Side Lot. If NOTHING seems to fit you, post here. We'll take care of you.
Remember, stories are nice and easier to follow when you include pictures. So post your Stovebolt Labor Day pictures!

I'll be meeting family in Gustavus, Alaska. We'll take a boat cruise thru Glacier Bay and also go to a demolition derby there. No, I won't be participating in that - just a spectator, although I have driven in a demo derby before and was the last car running in the first heat. That was about the most fun I've ever had behind the wheel.

City 4th of July fireworks tonight at the airport. Cancelled earlier because of the same storm that flooded Kerrville.
'57 GMC 102, Original 347 V8, HydraMatic, 3.08 rear gear, added A/C, disk front brakes, HEI, AFB carb, '98 Honda Black Currant paint. T-boned and totaled 10/12 '52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.
Dropped a tree yesterday on a friend's farm and cut up a fallen oak. We hauled 5 saw logs down the mountain to our other friend's saw mill.
Whole lotta furniture in those oak logs

And that doesn't show the butt log. We took that monster down the hill 2nd trip with two small pine logs. The butt log was so heavy, I ripped one of my cool "International" mud flaps off backing into the dump spot

Kevin, That’s the best light duty diesel ever produced! My Labor Day did not include any wrenching except for maybe my back! Drove to D.C. to move my daughter. Yes, she picked Labor Day for this. Jim

Thawing out and marinating a pork shoulder to smoke Tuesday for the KC Roundup. Maybe some yard bird also? Then prepping the truck and trailer for the trip to KC. Oh, and doing laundry for the trip.
