It came with a bunch of tools , but no tool holders. Where do i get them from? Are they interchangable with other brands? As you can tell by now i have never used a lathe before. I have several books , but can`t find an answer to the tool holder question. Do i have to use Birmingham tool holder? I can`t seem to find any anywhere. What do you think? Slider

I don't know how close to Bellingham you are, but Grizzly has tons-o-stuff for your lathe.
The best type to get would be the Aloris style, which is a quick change, wedge type tool post with individual holders. These are sized for the swing of your lathe...12" 16" etc.
They are cheap, work well, and are the hobby industry standard. Do a Google search for Grizzly Industrial.
Don't forget Harbor Freight...if you can stand the toxic environment inside their stores, they are a OK source for hobby focused accessories for your lathe. Good luck and have fun making chips!
