Hi Everyone,

This truck for sale is the 1972 Chevy C-10 Cheyenne Super owned by long time Stovebolt member George (Wrenchbender Ret.) Capito who unfortunately passed away in January. Here is a link to George's gallery post with photos from back in September 2024: 1972 Chevy C-10 Cheyenne Super.

George took exceptionally great care of this vehicle and showed it in many local Car/Truck Shows. It has a 350 V-8, A/C, automatic transmission and an auxiliary bed winch. It has only 41,148 miles on it. Paint is in excellent condition (orange and white). It is currently titled as an antique in the state of Kansas and is currently located in Overland Park, KS.

This vehicle is being sold "AS IS" by me as attorney and successor trustee of George's estate. My name is Mark L. Willens.

Asking price is $22,500 (cash or certified funds only). Inquiries may be directed to my office phone number 816-654-6698 or my email address: mlw99@lawyer.com.

Additional updated photos attached.

I believe there are a LOT of folks who can vouch for this truck! Thanks for listing it here on Stovebolt.

I can definitely vouch for this truck! I took all but the first picture in George's "Gallery" to help show his pride and joy off for the rest of our Stovebolt Community to see and share in. Anyone that new George, knows exactly how much TLC he put into this truck and the great extent of knowledge and wisdom he shared with our community through the many years he was with us.

I can also attest to how well it drives as George allowed me to drive it back from a car show we had attended together when he was feeling a bit under the weather.

Here's hoping a fellow Bolter will carry on in George's place and keep this in the Stovebolt family! thumbs_up

Seeing George's truck on here is bitter sweet. Those of us who had to privilege to meet and talk with him understand just what great person he was. I hope it goes to someone that will respect the Truck for what it is.
