I'm assuming that they would be an exact interchange, but I don't know for sure. Can any of you folks tell me?

Interestingly, in the 1929-1957 Parts manual lists 47-55 first series under the same part numbers. The 1953-55 with left side spare tire well are the same, but will apparently bolt to an earlier truck.

It has happened before. That parts book does show differences in the running board aprons for 54-55.1 pickups because of the difference in the beds.Could be that the 54-55.1 fenders should have been listed differently as well.
