Sorry for the late posting on this event heads up. dang

Here's the flyer and an open invitation to all to come enjoy the 52nd Annual Show-N-Shine sponsored by the Genuine Chevy/GMC Truck Club of Kansas City on Saturday July 26th, 2025.

See the flyer pics for registration details for folks that want to come show off their trucks or just attend as spectators. Registration and spectators gate opening at 8:00am.

Address and map to the site are also provided.

Last years event was the biggest yet with over 150 vehicles entered. Hoping to exceed that this year and look forward to seeing any Stovebolters that may be able to come attend! thumbs_up

I went to this event last year and it is a great show. Not a lot of loud music or loud vehicles driving around and really friendly people to talk to. Also over by mid afternoon so you have plenty of time to get back home and have a free Saturday night.
Sadly this year I we are hosting my wife’s family Reunion so I will not be able to attend.

Sorry that it's taken me a bit to get the pictures and after show report posted. We worried that the show just might not happen as we had significant rain throughout the days leading up to the show. Was still raining early Saturday morning when I got up about 4:30 - BOOOO!!!

Anyhow, by departure time of 6:30 the rain had stopped and the clouds were starting to clear. Arrived at the AG Hall of Fame and started setup about 7:15. Amazingly there were already a few cars lined up in the parking lot waiting to be allowed in. smile

Turned out we ended up with 80 entries, not including the Truck Club owned ones which brought us to more than 90 participants. A pretty good turn out considering the rain and wet conditions. The sun shined and we got everyone parked without creating a mud highway. It did get hot, but with lots of available water, other cold drinks and food provided by a local VFW group, participants and guests alike seemed to have a great time. Lots of cool giveaways of tools and other goodies donated for the event, including stuff for kids and adults alike.

Award ceremony was held about 2:30 and everyone pretty much scooted afterwards as the heat and high humidity of the day was still hammering everyone. The Truck Club turned over a nice donation to the AG Hall of Fame from the registrant and gate receipts, so all in all a successful show and great day shared with friends, participants and guests! Already looking forward to next year. thumbs_up

Oh yeah - the pictures - hahaha! Next posts please. grin

And finally - Show Stovebolt participants for this year. grin

I tried to capture as many pics as I could while still sharing in the show support duties. All the Truck Club members pulled rotating support for the various event needs. Everything from parking control, guest transport driving and ensuring safe trip on the AG Hall of Fame provided tractor and hay wagon, judging, etc. etc. wink

I hope you all enjoy the pics! thumbs_up

Like I said before, this is a great layed back show that is over by mid afternoon when it really is starting to get hot.
Due to a family gathering where I was the fry cook, I could not attend. Hopefully next year?

Don
