Obituary ===
Tim joined Stovebolt January 2015. His
first post in the Welcome Centre, "I live in NW Arkansas and have three GMC's. A 1952 half ton pickup, 1950 Panel and 1949 one ton flat bed."
Tim's partner ("Zodiacdeb") told us of his death when
she posted in the Swap Meet's Trucks for Sale slot that the 1950 GMC Panel is for sale.
This 1950 GMC Panel is in excellent condition and should be considered an art truck. The theme is Western Cowboy, and the photos do not do it justice.
My partner, Tim Malaney, died tragically 1.5 years ago, and I inherited his old trucks. This is one of them. I can't speak intelligently about it, but Tim's friend and mechanic, George Hill, is available to discuss the truck and negotiate the sale. If you are interested, I will PM George's phone number. Tim spent time here as lotsahorses. You may remember him. He loved GMC trucks! The following notes are from George.
Obituary "Timothy was from Cotter, Arkansas and passed away in Springfield, Missouri. He was a veterinarian, and opened Olde Towne Fenton Veterinary Hospital in Fenton, Missouri. It grew and thrived until he retired and moved to Cotter in 2009. "He had a magical way with animals..."
"Tim loved old things, particularly old trucks, and especially the ones with patina. Using leathers, woods, and jewelry, he decorated the interiors in spectacular fashion."
"He also liked cooking, blues music, art / drawing, a daily nap. He was funny, kind, generous, and thoughtful, and encouraged people to dream big. He hated having his photo taken. Most photos of Tim are of his back or his hand in front of his face. If you have a nice photo of Tim, treasure it. It is rare."
