After a rebuild of my Rochester on my 1950 216, I still have leaks where the top meets the bowl. This is apparently a design flaw. It was suggested that I get a Carter to replace it. Can anyone tell me which Carter to get and if anyone has a good used one I can rebuild?

Check out the topic Chevrolet Carter YF carburetors posted 24 May 2004.

Jon.

Good carburetion is fuelish hot air
The most expensive carburetor is the wrong one you attempt to modify.
