I see that Cosmo is making his way to the Southern Bolters gathering. Maybe he doesn’t love us anymore ☹️

I caught some fish the other day, then spent 3 days fixing what's wrong with my outboard. Now all it wants to do is rain.
And to keep it truck related, I pulled the heavy joh boat 90 miles round trip in Sweet Pea, my '50 3100.

Yep, it sure does look like some of the ODSS members are jumping ship because of boredom and headed south this May and maybe to the Midwest late summer?
My wife and I are part of the Southern Bolter’s and some of the Southern Bolter’s are active with the Midwest Bolter’s.

Look at what you are chatting about, FISHING? For God’s sake, this is a truck forum!

Where's Mikey?! Don's trying to put out a fire with gasoline!

Truck related stuff...
Hope to have my head back from the machinists in another week or so. Rebuilding and then delivering a vintage 1967-1969 Saginaw/Borg-Warner transmission for Chris Felchle.

I have to tell you - we need a gathering of epic proportion up this way.

Not sure of the when and where……or should we all focus on Winchester ?

Cosmo - did you get your truck running or are you driving the VW “daily driver” these days ?

I'm with you Joe. I'd drive north for a get together even if all there was available was an open field to park and an interstate overpass to sleep under. Might have a chance to run into a guy I used to know who lived under one up there. smile

Well, I've got plenty of open fields, lots of room to pitch a tent or park a self-contained RV, and there are a few overpasses nearby- - - - -plus John's new digs are about an hour southeast of my place. I can see the possibility of a meet & greet and some wrench bending sometime in the not too distant future. Right now, my wife's deteriorating health situation needs to take priority, however.
