could a guy build a box with plexiglass front,i was goona cut two arm holes and staple some long heavy duty rubber gloves to that.
would this work?
i'ts minus 28 outside and i want to keep dust to a minimum.

Use some weather strip gaskets to get it as tight as possible. I cut a hole on the side corner for the vac and two arm holes. I pulled the sandblaster hose in one of the arm holes and put the window on top. I didn't seal any thing and it was not bad. But you need good ear muffs and clean the vac filter a lot.

I went to a corner of my yard, and drapped a rubbber tarp over the fance and in the grass and then blasted away. Picked up the tarp, screened the sand that was trapped, and went at it again. I JUST LEARNED THE HARD WAY ABOUT SAND BLASTING IN THE GARAGE...
I ALMOST HAD A FLASHBACK FROM SAUDI!!
SAND EVERYWHERE,,,
OH WELL GOT MOST OF THE CORNERS ON THE FRAME AND
MOST OF THE ENGINE...TOMORROW I WILL BUILD THE BOX AND MAYBEE GET AROUND TO DOING THE SMALL PARTS.
A LITLLE AT A TIME I DON'T WANT TO BURN OUT ON IT,BUT HAPPY TO SEE PROGRESS. | | |
