Trying to decide on new wheels/tires for my '55.2 3600 that has stock 15" wheels on it now. Wheelsmith only has 16x6, 7, & 8" in 8 lug. The 16x6 can be had with 3 1/2" backspacing, which is very close to stock 15" backspacing and offset. I think these will clear the tie rod ends. This is what I'm leaning towards right now; hoping I can tweak caster to compensate somewhat for geometry difference if needed. The 55.2's 3600 had options for 15", 16" & 17" wheels; I don't know if factory caster was set differently with each option. Haven't seen any documentation that would indicate this. Anybody have any thoughts on if caster may need changes?
