Just purchased a rear seat for my son’s project car that needs a ride home from Chattanooga, TN.

Mr. Milliman has tentatively volunteered to get it from Chattanooga to Townsend. Curious if anyone heading west after that event could get it moving that direction.

Wouldn’t necessarily need to come all the way to SE MO if it sends someone out of their way. Nashville, STL, or even KC are all places I will get to at some point this summer. Actually we will get to east TN on vacation but it won’t be until August.

Nathan, you do know Vicki and I will be cutting thru Cape again going to and from Townsend.
We will make room for it, but like before, I will be towing a trailer, so we may have to meet you at DG again.
So tell John to bring it and we’ll take it from there.

Don

I knew you were going to Townsend, didn’t know which route you might take. Thanks, Don!

Yahoo! Sounds like another in-progress MBA Pony Express move is in the works. Would be great to hear the story and see (pictures guys - hahaha!) your meet up and such. Keep us posted gents! Thanks too to the Boss (John M) for helping play a part in this cross country mission! thumbs_up

Nathan, we found that we like I-55 better than I-57 because it has a lot fewer tractor trailers running it.
Then the drive down hwy 3 is also nice. We will be coming back thru Sunday afternoon or Monday mid day.
I will only have a 16 ft trailer and should be able to turn around in your drive way if need be.

Another successful relay! Big thanks to Jerry and Don for the transport!

Also appreciate John M being initially willing to do the first leg, but also the great forward communication when his plans change

Hope to make it to Townsend myself next May. Looks like a super cool event.

I’ve been on the giving, storing, receiving, and transport ends of several of these fire drills through the years. Quite a testament to the culture on this site. My wife always thinks I’m nuts when I describe how some far-away thing can make it to SE MO via the Stovebolt collective. But then she’s always equally impressed when it works out.

Glad to hear your request was a success. I think we all enjoy doing this. Just one more way for us to help each other out when possible. Until the next mission! thumbs_up
