I'm trying to identify the source of the attached document. I've noticed "TPM-1344" in the lower right of the upper image and "TPM-1346" in the lower right of the lower image. Can anyone tell me where they came from?

Bill - I've been trying track that down myself after it got posted in one of Swap Meet ads. Thanks for bring it to light here.

That would be Pre ‘68 Dave and yes he is still active.

I did a reverse image search and found a few instances of that image posted on the HAMB, with no electronic or printed source cited. Found it on here http://www.1954advance-design.com/Documents.htm with credits to Pre '68 Dave, so hopefully Dave can share where it's from.
But what document did you get it from Tim? That's my question.

We're talking about the source of the distributor gear and cam material image. It exists in several places on the web including your links page, but we're trying to ID what hard copy book or document it originally came from. All the web-based sources for it seem to point back to Pre '68 Dave, as we've discussed.
Exactly what Eric says. The image that everybody has does not have any identifying source markings. We cannot prove it is even from a General Motor's manual/book of any kind.
Maybe the "TPM" in each of the lower right corners of the two pictures stands for "Toyota Parts Manual".

TPM is a GMC document. This probably came from a Service Bulletin around 53 or 54. They were from the Technical Publication Department. TP from the early 40’s to about 54 then TPM. You can find them in owner, maintenance and training manuals, but not in parts books, they use group numbers.
I have some and OldGMCtrucks forum does to. I'll look tonight.

I looked thru four 2" binders of GMC Service Bulletins that I have (mostly '55 up thru '62 with a lot of duplicates) with no luck. No luck looking thru the indexes for those same years for mention of distributor gears.
I did notice the phenomena that jimgmc mentions above where I have a 1953 Service Bulletin that has an illustration identified as "TP-xxxx" and an Oct 54 Service Bulletin with an illustration identified as "TPM-1711". Assuming (hate that word) that the TPM numbers were issued in sequential numbers, the drawings in question (TPM-1344 & 1346) would be between 1953 and October 1954. The later into my set of Service Bulletins I went the higher the TPM numbers were.
Didn't find any applicable info on OldGMCtrucks forum either.
