I need to order bed parts for my project. Now that Mar-K is apparently out of business, I'm curious where to go for good quality and good fitment, at a fair price. I'm really disappointed that Mar-K is gone. I've used their parts on past projects and were very pleased with them. It does appear that some of the Mar-K parts are available through Summit Racing. Did they maybe buy out the remaining inventory? Any help appreciated

My guess is that there wasn't any inventory left, to speak of, the way things were going at MAR-K before they were shut down.
Other vendors offered bed parts, but no idea what their source was.
I'd get hold of Jim Carter and see what they have to say.

Mike - I can't vouch for their fit and quality, but Dynacorn seems to be a prominent supplier of reproduction parts for many of our trucks. Just my $.02 worth, but anybody listing parts you need on line should get a phone call to talk to a live person about what they have and who makes 'em. Hopefully others that may have used Dynacorn stuff will chime in here and offer more info.

With Mar-k out of business , ( all of my bed replacment parts came from Mar-K ) ......I suggest you consider contacting LMC Truck, lmctruck.com, they have a complete listing of bed parts for our AD trucks, products are GM Licensed and many are shown as "in stock". I've had no issue with buying parts from them. I would strongly suggest calling them to verify stock before placing an order.

HERE IS WHERE you'll find the detail on Mar-K, including a post from Mark ("59 fleet") giving more details on the business.

Thank you one and all. LMC and Carter have the parts I need. I will check Dynacorn. The Mar-K parts were so good, I'm sorry that they're gone. I"m hoping to buy american, and I'm hoping to buy parts that will interchange with the original stuff.
