Welcome to the Project Journals section of our forum! We're excited to have you here and want to explain some important guidelines about this special area of our community.

This section is dedicated to detailed restoration and project write-ups from selected members who have been specifically invited to share their ongoing work. Unlike our general forums, this space focuses primarily on documented progress rather than casual discussion.

Please note that posting in this section is by invitation only. Any journals posted without prior invitation will be relocated to a more appropriate forum section.

While we encourage members to ask questions about the projects they see, please remember that this isn't a general discussion area. The focus should remain on the project itself.

Important guidelines for Project Journals

1. Projects MUST be actively ongoing with regular updates and photos (updates every week or so is suggested).
2. Inactive journals (no updates for 1+ years) may be moved to the Archived Journals, the DITY Gallery, the Parking Lot area or removed.
3. Completed journals will be moved to Completed Journals forum.

If you don't anticipate being able to provide regular updates, we recommend using the DITY Gallery instead for sharing the story of your build.

Bolt on!
