I am looking at a 54 or 55 panel (not sure of the year yet) and it has a 137" wheel base. Is this considered a long wheel base for a panel of this year?? It has a 235 inline with a 4 spd tranny

Yes, it is long when you are driving it. I think that is the length of my panel truck. Mine is a 1 ton. I took it to the truck scales today and they said it weighed 4900lbs with me in it.
