Did the 1956 3100 16" wheels have 3 or 6 clips? I've looked up the specs but found nothing about the hubcap clips.

I believe the 55.2 and later 16" wheels had 3 clips. I had one that I just sent to a fellow bolter. The 6 clip 16" wheels were 4" and 4.5" wide for the AD series. The 55.2 wheels with 3 clips were 5" wide.
