Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 81 Member | | Member Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 81 | I picked-up an old Snap-on Tool box full of tools from the estate of a local mechanic recently. The box dates to 1956 (Top) and 1958 (Bottom). I have been cleaning it up and am debating painting it. Has anyone had any experience with one of these old boxes ? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 793 Bondo Artiste | | Bondo Artiste Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 793 | This sounds very cool. Can you post a photo or e-mail one to me? I have a mid-eighties Snap On tool box and I like the vintage look, if you really want to consider the 80's vintage.

I once had a waterloo tool box top and bottom, I think it was a 50s also but sold it cuz I needed the money at the time. I have had a 70s craftsman since high school. Some people like the patina on old things some like them like new so do what works for ya. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 | Mainer54, If a '58/'59 tool box is an antique then I must be older than DIRT!
